Autonomy Through Infrastructure
LV5 CTRL TWR
Autonomy Through Infrastructure (ATI), is a revolutionary approach to bring autonomy to finished vehicle logistics using smart infrastructure.
Status Quo:
Autonomous driving system inside the car.
Autonomy Through Infrastructure :
Building autonomous driving system into the infrastructure
to marshall the vehicle from outside.
No extra hardware change to the vehicle itself!
LV5 CTRL TWR
Seoul Robotics’ ATI Solution, Level 5 Control Tower (LV5 CTRL TWR), turns non-autonomous cars into self-driving vehicles. The solution is a mesh network of sensors and computers on infrastructure that guides vehicles autonomously in a controlled area without requiring that sensors be placed on individual vehicles.
Bringing Autonomy to First
and Last Mile Logistics
BMW is the first OEM to commercially adopt LV5 CTRL TWR at their BMW iFactory in Dingolfing for the BMW i7 and 7 Series. This is the world’s first autonomous driving deployment at an automotive factory and is the largest global deployment of sensors with over 200 to build a unified, complex environmental model.
Proven Performance
LV5 CTRL TWR is a safe and reliable autonomous driving system, for use within controlled logistics grounds and parking lots. It performs in both indoor and outdoor environments, and in adverse weather conditions to provide 24/7 autonomous driving.
Deployment at Scale
Hundreds of vehicles can be autonomously driven simultaneously in a controlled network, safely navigating around obstacles and other vehicles, with data from sensors on the infrastructure.
